ST. PATRICK’S DAY AND THE WEARING OF THE GREEN!

Wednesday, March 17th is St. Patrick’s Day and we will honor him in three ways.
Bring 2 items for Waite House (to provide food for others like St. Patrick did) so that:
You can wear any green item (to allow for fun and creativity like St. Patrick did) and:
We will attend Mass at 10:00 (to honor God like St. Patrick did).

We are allowing you to be creatively green on this day, top to bottom.  Jeans are okay, but ONLY if you add some green somehow.
NO GREEN HAIR COLOR, please.  It gets all over everything.
SHIRTS appropriate neckline and sleeves.

Again, bring 2 Waite House items to be out of uniform on Wednesday, March 17th.

additional note:  NO FACE PAINT

CATHOLIC SCHOOLS' WEEK Friday Olympic Games

Sixth graders were asked the following question, and here are
some of their answers.

What were some of the great things about your Friday afternoon?
going outside - playing in the snow was really fun
the songs at the end for each country were really fun and cute
we loved being with the little kids
-we could help them in the challenges
         - I have a new best friend in first grade
         - they were friendly and had a blast with us
        - making the torches was really cool - mine didn't stay glued
doing the pole vault was funny - most people in our group
                     shot way over the pole
the javelin with toothpicks was really hard
the parade at the end was way cool
I kept falling off the carpet pieces in the gym trying to "ski"
I won at bingo two times and gave my prize to a kindergartner
I wish we could do this more often
