Lake Harriet

GOAL: $85,000

Collect pledges, then run, walk, bike or blade around Lake Harriet with your family and meet up with friends and faculty at the band shell for snacks, games and fun.

Green Marathon– We try to keep our event as “green” as possible by: enjoying organic snacks at the event;recycling or composting any waste from snacks at the event; and reducing the amount of paper and materials we use to promote the event. (Look for email communications re: marathon.) Do your part by bringing your own water bottle on Marathon day or using the drinking fountains at Lake Harriet.

Keep tuition affordable- The Marathon is one of two fundraisers our school holds specifically to help keep tuition affordable (the other is the magazine drive in January). More than 5% of the school’s operating budget is provided by fundraisers.

Your Fair Share - Your pledge counts toward your “fair share*” commitment.  
 (*1 student $250, 2 students $275, 3+ students $300)

Prizes – Students who collect $100 in pledges will get a great prize. Plus there will be fun classroom prizes and an all-school prize for 100% participation!

Get on it!- Pledge totals are due in September BEFORE the Marathon but actual money doesn’t need to be turned in until AFTER the Marathon. You can also donate online at carondeletcatholicschool.com/supportcarondelet

Hit ‘em up! - Grandparents, parents, friends and neighbors are your students best “prospects” when seeking pledges. And don’t forget matching gift money from your employer!

$1,000 tuition credit raffle- All families who pledge $200 or more are eligible for a $1,000 tuition credit. 

Saying thanks – In appreciation for pledges from parishioners of CTK and STA, middle schoolers will rake leaves for those in need.
