Key Fundraisers
Carondelet Catholic School relies on tuition payments, parish support, endowment and fundraising to help us meet our operating budget and fund special projects and events.
Carondelet's major annual fundraisers are outlined below.

Carondelet Marathon:
How it Works: Students gather pledges from family members and friends and then
participate in a 3-mile walk around Lake Harriet.
Event Date: Saturday, October 3, 2009
Profit Goal: $85,000
Tax Deductible: All cash contributions are tax deductible to the donor
Who Contributes: In addition to parishioners, families and friends, Carondelet receives
donations through corporate matching grants.

Magazine Drive:
How it Works: Students renew magazine subscriptions of friends and
family through American Publishers. 45% of the sales go back to Carondelet.
Event Date: February, 2010
Profit Goal: $18,000
Tax Deductible: 100% of the cash donations and up to 45% of value of the magazines.
Who Contributes: Families and friends are asked to order or renew
magazine subscriptions

Wrapping Paper:
How it Works: Students sell Innisbrook wrapping paper and gifts to friends
and family. 50% of the sales go back to Carondelet.
Event Date: October 27 - November 11, 2010
Profit Goal: $8,000
Tax Deductible: 50% of the purchase is tax deductible.
Who Contributes: Families and friends are asked to order.

Parents A-Go-Go:
How it Works: Parents, faculty and friends of Carondelet gather for an evening of
fun while raising money for the school through a silent and live auction.
Event Date: Saturday, February 20, 2010
Fundraising Goal: TBD
Tax Deductible: Donated auction items are tax deductible to the donor.
Who Contributes: Families and friends of Carondelet.
Annual Fund:
How it Works: Annual Fund letters are mailed to Carondelet supporters requesting
donations. Money is applied towards the operating budget for
financial aid and special projects.
Event Date: Letters mailed early November.
Fundraising Goal: n/a
Tax Deductible: All cash donations are 100% tax deductible to the donor.
Fair Share:
How it Works: Each Carondelet family must contribute to fair share fundraising
through Marathon, the Magazine Drive, a cash donation and/or
corporate matching program. (Wrapping Paper sales do not
count toward your Fair Share goal).
Event Date: Funds can be raised throughout the school year,
or made in monthly payments.
Fundraising Goal: $250 for family with 1 student; $275 for family with 2 students;
$300 for family with 3 children.
Tax Deductible: All cash donations are 100% tax deductible to the donor
