Work
is ALWAYS shown on all assignments and on all tests! "Work" can be a
calculator key sequence, a labeled pencil/paper calculation or an
explanation of your reasoning.
Mistakes happen when practicing new skills—Practice, Notice Errors, Fix Errors, Practice More!
Homework needs to be completed, corrected and fixed daily. Once a week there will be a HOMEWORK QUIZ to see how you are doing on your work. On a HOMEWORK QUIZ you will be asked to explain a homework problem, copy a corrected problem, and/or summarize results.

Pascal's TriangleTh9/9—M 9/14
Is this cool or what? I am impressed with the posters so far. Be sure you really know and can explain your topic. Your parents can see your posters at Back to School Night. I continue to be amazed at this triangle! It supports my faith in an awesome God.
This is a very cool arrangement of numbers. Who first made it? Why are we studying it now? What does it represent? Who is Pascal and why is the triangle named after him?
Your job is to fill in the triangle—without a calculator and on the sheet I will provide. You must then research a topic of interest about this triangle and prepare a report and a poster to be presented to the class on Monday. Use the links below to explore topics or find your own. Sign up in class on Friday for the topic of your choice.
