Field Museum: Sound from the Vaults This is a very interesting website that gives parents and students an opportunity to explore sounds of instruments from different cultures. Play an hour-glass drum, a bird-shaped flute, Venezuelan maracas, and a set of 14 copper gongs, while learning about the history of each instrument and its journey to the museum.
