Note to Parents:  Hola! Me llamo Katy Eiden. Soy la maestra de español en niveles 6, 7 y 8.  It would be great if you could ask your students what they learned in Spanish on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Learning a second language requires practice beyond the limited classroom instruction each week.  The students should try to use their Spanish daily at home.  Have them teach you!  With our new book series Realidades, 7th and 8th grade students will have a Spanish computer lab day.  There they will practice vocabulary, do activities and practice games, take practice quizzes, watch dvd film clips of kids in Spanish speaking countries, among other things.  This series features online practice for access at home as well.
