Dear Students, Parents, Faculty and Friends-
This Sunday, Jan. 31, begins Carondelet Catholic School's week-long celebration of Catholic Schools Week. This year’s theme, “Catholic Schools: Dividends for Life” reminds us that students prepared in faith, knowledge, morals, and discipline produce dividends that last a lifetime.
In addition to service projects for our friends at Waite House and those in Haiti, there are many ways Carondelet will be celebrating Catholic Schools Week, beginning with a kick-off Mass at Christ the King on Sunday, January 31 at 9:30 a.m. The Boy Scouts will be hosting a Pancake Breakfast in the CTK Social Hall following the Mass. We give thanks to our sponsoring parishes for their generosity and support of Carondelet Catholic School.
We have several activities planned during the week including Student Council planned dress-up days, Mass at the Upper Campus, lunch with our sponsoring parishes, and a staff appreciation breakfast sponsored by Home & School. On Friday, February 5, students from both campuses will gather at the Upper Campus for Olympic-themed games and activities. We invite parents to join us at the Upper Campus for complimentary Starbucks hot chocolate prior to pickup.
We will close the week-long celebration with the 9 a.m. Mass at St. Thomas the Apostle Church on Feb. 7. We hope you can join us!
We are truly blessed to be part of such a generous and committed community of believers. Thank you for your continued support of Catholic education.
Sincerely,
Becky Farber, Principal
