Personal interests: Beyond enjoying my work with technology, I love everything and anything that one might consider "dorky." I am a huge fan of Tolkien's Lord of the Rings books, Rowling's Harry Potter books, and Card's Ender and Bean books. I also adore the works of William Shakespeare, Star Trek AND Star Wars, and a vast array of poets. I love watching films, but most of all I enjoy spending time with friends and my family.
What I love about my job: I am thrilled to be at Carondelet Catholic School, and I am looking forward to getting to know the amazing teachers and the outstanding students who clearly go to school here. I have decided to make technology and technology education the focus of my career because I believe that learning to use technology appropriately and as a tool, not a toy, is one of the most important thing schools can do. My greatest hope is to help students embrace technology in ways that make them more creative, more efficient, and more engaged, while also showing them that there are plenty of times when the best thing one can do with technology is turn it off.
